Quay Cottage

A unique and spectacular holiday home, nestled in the rocks in the natural harbour of Port Quin on the North Cornwall coast

Interior

Downstairs at Quay, the front door opens straight into the kitchen, where you'll find an electric oven with grill, a tall fridge, a kettle and toaster and everything you'll need for cooking and baking.There is a hot water heater above the sink for washing up, and a larder for food storage. Through the door, past the stairs, is the living room. There's a dining table and chairs, an antique settle, an armchair and a nursing chair, and a woodturning stove (logs and kindling available to purchase), there is also seating on the window seats. Next to the living room is what we call the 'End Room', which is a great place to change after a swim. before a hot bath in the downstairs bathroom. The End Room also has a door to the outside. Above the door into the End Room is the electrics cupboard, where you can take your meter readings at the start and end of your stay.

It is worth noting that Quay Cottage does not have a washing machine, dishwasher or television. There is also no telephone or mobile service.

Upstairs you'll find the three bedrooms and the separate toilet. At the top of the stairs, on the left, is the single room, with a bookcase, chest of drawers and clothes hanging area. On the right, past the toilet, is the bunk bed room, with a chest of drawers and a desk (full of games). Through the bunk room is the double room, with a chest of drawers and a large hanging-cupboard.
